Lined Plug Valves are ideal for handling highly corrosive or chemically aggressive process media. These valves feature an internal lining made from the advanced fluoropolymer PFA, which acts as a protective barrier between the valve metal components and the media, effectively preventing corrosion. Compared to PTFE, PFA offers superior thermal stability, enhanced chemical and permeation resistance, and better mechanical strength, making it more suitable for demanding industrial environments. This makes PFA-lined valves especially reliable in applications involving acids, alkalis, solvents, and other reactive chemicals — commonly found in chemical processing, pharmaceutical manufacturing, and wastewater treatment. FluoroSeal PFA-lined plug valves are available in ASME Class 150 and Class 300 in sizes from ½” to 10” (DN 15 to DN 250).
